After reading the appropriate section in your prescribed textbook From Snapshots to Great Shots, please answer the following questions:
- Name all the functions / buttons on the front of your camera
2. Name all the functions / buttons on the back of your camera
2.Explain how you would set the correct ISO
The first thing I have to do to set the correct ISO is to make sure I am in one of the creative modes on my camera, which includes the program mode(P), The shutter priority mode(Tv), The aperture mode( Av), The Manual Mode (M) and the Auto depth of field mode(A-Dep). Then I have to press on the ISO bottom on the top of the camera and use the main dial to select the correct ISO.
3.Explain how you would change the aperture
To change the aperture I have to be in either the aperture mode (Av) or the Manual mode(M). In the apperture mode you have to first press the shutter release halfway down until you can view the exposure information on the bottom area of the viewfinder or by looking at the rear display panel, and then while the meter is activated use your finger to roll the main dial left and right to see the changed exposure values.
In the Manual mode you have to press the aperture button on the back of the camera while you use your index finger to roll the main dial left and right to set the apperture.
4.Explain how you would set the shutter speed
Just like setting the aperture, when setting your shutter speed you have to first set your camera in the shutter priority mode and then activate the camera meter by depressing your shutter button halfway. While the meter is activated use your index finger to roll the main dial to set your shutter speed.
