I have been indulging myself in the world of motion graphics this week, it has been inspiring and I have learned a lot of things. I am really exited to start with the mandatory assignment for this course so I tried to get the learning activity out-of-the-way so I could start focusing on the big things. However this was far from an easy task, so in the process I still learned a lot of things.
The first thing is that it takes a lot of time to plan a sequence, you must have a clear idea in your mind, pay attention to detail and draw the same things over and over. While I searched through my favorite movies I found a lot of awesome and clever opening titles, these inspired me a lot.
The movie I ended up choosing is “Le Fabuleux Destin d’Amelie Poulain”. I actually really loved the opening titles of the movie but decided either way to make my own version.
